Getting Married in Columbus
Columbus is in Bartholomew County. Indiana residents apply for a marriage license with the clerk in the county where either of you lives, and for Bartholomew County that office is in Columbus. Indiana has no waiting period and does not require witnesses, so once you have your license you can be married that day.
We sign your license at the ceremony and explain how it is returned to the clerk, so the legal part is taken care of.
