Folktale was once the Johnson family homestead, a home dating to 1840. Grafton Johnson loved animals, and the family is said to have kept lions and bear cubs on the property. That is quite the guest list.

Today it is a historic mansion on nearly two acres in downtown Greenwood, close to our office, with room to celebrate indoors and out. Small weddings fit right in: Folktale welcomes elopements and micro weddings, so you do not need a big guest list to enjoy it. We are a preferred vendor here, and we plan, coordinate and officiate for LGBTQ+ couples.
