Abby and Lauren’s Outdoor Wedding at White Willow Farms in Arcadia, Indiana

September 26, 2026 · White Willow Farms · Arcadia, Indiana

Two stunning brides, a beautiful September day, and a ceremony surrounded by people who love them. Abby and Lauren’s wedding at White Willow Farms was one I’m excited to share.

On September 26, 2026, I officiated their outdoor wedding in Arcadia, Indiana. The sky was blue, the setting was gorgeous, and these two looked absolutely stunning in their wedding dresses.

And before you scroll through the photos, a little warning: there are some very good reasons to keep the tissues nearby.

Two Brides and a First Look Saved for the Ceremony

Abby and Lauren chose not to do a first look with each other before the ceremony. They saved seeing one another in their wedding dresses for the walk down the aisle.

That choice gave the ceremony such a beautiful beginning.

There’s something about watching someone see the person they’re about to marry, dressed and ready, with their favorite people gathered around them. You can plan the timing and the music, but the reaction belongs entirely to the couple.

The photos from Be Seen Photos capture those emotions so well. A hand raised to wipe away tears. Guests reacting from their seats. The brides seeing one another as the ceremony begins.

You don’t need me to explain every feeling in those pictures. Take a look. They say plenty on their own.

And those dresses! Both women were stunning. The lace, the detail, the trains—there was a lot to admire. Seeing them together made it even better.

An Outdoor Ceremony at White Willow Farms

White Willow Farms gave Abby and Lauren a beautiful setting for their outdoor wedding.

The wooden pews lined the aisle, with their guests seated on either side. At the end stood the white ceremony structure, framed by trees and open sky. The photos show how beautifully the setting came together, right down to the welcome sign bearing their names.

It felt like an early fall wedding without needing the weather to turn chilly. Blue skies, sunshine, and a setting that looked wonderful from every angle.

The wedding party’s rust and green outfits worked beautifully with the bouquets and the white barn. Those colors brought fall into the photos while keeping everything bright.

And can we talk about the little wedding party member in the green suit and sunglasses? That look deserves its own mention. Very well dressed. Very cool. Clearly understood the assignment.

Vows Written by the Brides

Abby and Lauren exchanged vows they had written themselves.

As an officiant, I love when couples choose to share their own words. It gives them a chance to say what they want their partner to hear, in the way they would actually say it.

I’m there to guide the ceremony, but those promises are theirs.

Their guests got to witness the two of them standing together and making those commitments. That’s a big part of why I care so much about helping couples feel comfortable with their ceremony.

You should be able to focus on the person you’re marrying and the words you’re saying. The ceremony should give you room to be yourselves.

For Abby and Lauren, their personal vows were part of a wedding that reflected the two of them and the life they were choosing together.

A Sand Unity Ceremony

They also included a sand unity ceremony, representing their separate lives coming together as one.

As they combined the sand, they created a shared keepsake of that moment in their ceremony.

Unity ceremonies are a choice we discuss with couples when creating their script. Some want one, and some don’t. What matters is choosing something that fits your relationship and understanding what you want it to represent.

For Abby and Lauren, the sand unity was another way to express the commitment they were making.

The Photos Tell So Much of the Story

Be Seen Photos captured far more than the setting and the dresses.

These images show the people and reactions that made up the day: guests wiping away tears, time spent getting ready, and the wedding party celebrating around the brides.

Then there are the wedding party pictures. Rust on one side, green on the other, with Abby and Lauren together in the middle. The colors look wonderful against the white barn, and the people around them bring so much personality to the images.

There’s even a butterfly photographed among the flowers. A small detail, but such a lovely addition to the story of their day.

Surrounded by Love and Support

One thing that stands out in these photos is the support surrounding Abby and Lauren.

You see it in the guests’ expressions, in the people beside them, and in the wedding party celebrating with them. Their wedding brought together people who were there to witness their marriage and celebrate the two of them.

That matters.

At Indiana Pride Weddings, I want LGBTQ+ couples to know they deserve that kind of welcome from their wedding professionals, too. You should feel comfortable talking about your relationship, sharing your plans, and asking for a ceremony that reflects who you are.

I’m Bretta, the owner of Indiana Pride Weddings and Weddings By Bretta, and I’ve spent more than 14 years working with couples as a wedding professional. I believe every couple deserves respect and care throughout the process.

Abby and Lauren’s wedding is one beautiful example of why I love officiating. Two people making promises to each other, with their loved ones there to support them.

Love is love. Always has been. Always will be.

Congratulations, Abby and Lauren
